LARUS engages in technical collaboration and regional growth dialogue at BKNIX Peering Forum 2025
LARUS participated in the BKNIX Peering Forum 2025, held on 22–23 May in Bangkok, Thailand, where network operators, IXPs, and internet infrastructure experts came together to exchange technical knowledge and foster collaboration across Asia-Pacific. Hosted by the Thai Network Information Center Foundation (THNICF), the event focused on advancing internet interconnection, peering strategies, and infrastructure innovation.
Contributing to regional interconnection discussions
On 22 May, the forum kicked off with keynotes and panel sessions covering the evolution of internet exchange points (IXPs), the future of routing security, and the role of peering in regional network resilience. LARUS joined discussions on how intelligent IP resource management and address planning are foundational to supporting growing traffic demands across Southeast Asia.
The event highlighted best practices in routing security such as RPKI deployment, MANRS compliance, and route leak prevention—areas where LARUS’s expertise in network policy and IP provisioning proved highly relevant.
Engaging with the technical community
The second day, 23 May, focused on deep technical engagement through lightning talks, case studies, and workshops. Topics included IPv6 deployment, BGP optimization, and peering automation. LARUS took part in conversations around IPv4 exhaustion challenges and provided insights into how its address brokerage and IP strategy services are helping operators sustain growth during the transition to IPv6.
Participants also explored traffic engineering tools, DNS optimization, and cross-border connectivity improvements—key concerns for which LARUS offers practical, scalable solutions through its consulting and infrastructure support.
Strengthening collaboration across Asia-Pacific
Throughout the event, LARUS networked with telecom operators, cloud providers, and data centers seeking new opportunities for peering and infrastructure partnerships. By sharing its experience in global IP address distribution and interconnection strategy, LARUS reinforced its role as a trusted enabler of efficient, sustainable internet growth in emerging markets.
